| Is best een intressante materie dat Heelal. Gisteren stond er een stuk op Yahoo dat een Vliegtuig op weg naar Santiago in Chile bijna werdt geraakt door een Meteoriet, weliswaar kwam deze langs op een afstand van 8km, echter het geraas waarmee deze naar beneden kwam was zo hard dat men de motoren van het vliegtuig niet meer kon horen in het vliegtuig zelf. ASTEROID FLYBY: Asteroid 2006 VV2 is about to fly past Earth. On March 30th around 11 pm PDT the 2 km-wide space rock will streak through the constellation Leo only 2 million miles away glowing like a 10th magnitude star. This makes it an easy target for backyard telescopes with CCD cameras. Last night, Mike Broussard of Maurice, Louisiana, caught the asteroid flying past spiral galaxy M81 in Ursa Major:

Vond het al met al best wel een bijzonder spectacel, en Tobias bedankt voor de mooie shoots, zo blijft het ook voor het toekomstige nageslacht bewaard.

TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE:
Set aside some time this weekend for sky
watching. On Saturday night, March 3rd, there''s going to be a total
eclipse of the Moon. This means the Moon will glide through the heart of
