Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl an American Television teen drama based on a novel serie from Cecily von Ziegesar.
The series is made by the same people that created The O.C.
Gossip Girl takes place in New York's Upper East Side and it revolves around the lives of the socialite
young adults growing up their. They attend elite academic institutions while dealing with sex, drugs,
jealousy, and other teenage issues.
  
The series revolves around the following characters:
Serena van der Woodsen – played by Blake Lively
The former It girl who, a time before the show's beginning, had suddenly left Manhattan for a boarding school
thereby straining relations with her best friend Blair Waldorf.
Blair Waldorf – played by Leighton Meester
In the time Serena was gone she relished in her new position as the Queen Bee in their circle of friends, along
with her boyfriend, Nate Archibald. Now that Serena is coming back in the picture she fears her new found position.
Dan Humphrey – played by Penn Badgley
When Serena comes back she finds an friend in Dan. Dan is new in the upper class and has a little crush on Serena.
Nate Archibald – played by Chace Crawford
Nate is the most populair guy in school and also the boyfriend of Blair. But Nate feels trapped in his relationship
with Blair Waldorf, as he is in love with Serena and slept with her directly before she left.
Jenny Humphrey – played by Taylor Momsen
Jenny is the little sister of Dan who desperately wants to become populair. She idolizes sexy and wealthy
Serena van der Woodsen, to the point of being accused of "humping" her.
Chuck Bass – played by Ed Westwick
Chuck is a cynical and morally bankrupt friend from Nate’s childhood. Chuck is not above manipulating other
people to serve his own goals.
